NWAAAE Names 2019-'20 Leadership

Fairbanks, AK – Rebecca Hupp, A.A.E., Airport Director of the Boise Airport (ID), was elected last week as President of the Northwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) for 2019-2020. Founded in 1971, NWAAAE is an affiliate
 of AAAE, the world's largest professional organization representing the men and women who work at commercial and general aviation airports. Other key appointments to the Chapter’s Officers and Board of Directors were also finalized during the 48th Annual Conference held in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Hupp was one of five leaders elected by the NWAAAE Chapter membership during the 48th Annual Conference, which was held September 23-25 and hosted by the Fairbanks Int’l Airport. Hupp succeeds Cathryn Stephens, A.A.E., Assistant Airport Director at the Eugene Airport (OR), who becomes Immediate Past President.

Other new Chapter leaders elected by the NWAAAE membership are First Vice-President Brian Sprenger, A.A.E., Airport Director of the Bozeman Yellowstone Int’l Airport (MT); Second Vice-President Ryan Sheehan, A.A.E., Director of Operations and Maintenance of 
Spokane Int’l Airport (WA); and Secretary/Treasurer Chris Pomeroy, Airport Manager of Friedman Memorial Airport (ID).

Members of the NW Chapter AAAE Board of Directors are Casey Boatman, C.M., Airport Business Coordinator of Renton Municipal Airport (WA); Devon Brubaker, A.A.E., Airport Director of Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport (WY); Joe Goetz, C.M., Operations Manager of Crater Lake-Klamath Regional Airport (OR); Cuyler Green, A.A.E., Vice President Operations of Fort McMurray Airport Authority (AB); Melissa Osborn, A.A.E., Alaska Aviation Manager for DOWL; Rich Stehmeier, C.M., Airport Manager of St. George Regional Airport (UT); and Jeremy Worrall, A.A.A./A.C.E., Statewide Airport Operations Superintendent of State of Alaska DOT.

The 49th Annual NWAAAE Conference will be held Oct. 5-7, 2020, in Jackson Hole, WY hosted by the Jackson Hole Airport.
